Delta Airlines is a founding member of Sky Team Alliance. Headquarter in Atlanta, Georgia which is also their main base. It acquired Northwest Airlines in 2008. Delta has hubs also in Amsterdam and Tokyo.
In 2013, Delta Airlines was the world's largest airline in terms of scheduled passengers carried and the second largest in terms of both revenue and capacity.
It operates a fleet of more than 800 aircraft manufactured by Airbus, Boeing, and MC Donnell Douglas.
